Sod HaGoralot (סוד הגורלות) · sod-hagoralot.com · Last updated: 6 July 2026

Sod HaGoralot ("the Service", "we", "us") is an online entertainment application that provides traditional fortune/lot readings. This policy explains what data we process and why. We collect as little as possible and do not require you to create an account or provide your name.

1. Information we process

• Anonymous device identifier (anon_id): a random ID stored in your browser's local storage to track your free question and link purchased credits to your device. It is not linked to your real-world identity.
• Wallet tokens: when you buy a question pack, we generate a random access token that stores your remaining credits. It is stored in your browser and on our backend so you can return to your credits.
• Language preference: stored locally to show the Service in your chosen language.
• Usage & analytics data: via Google Analytics — pages viewed, general device/browser info, and approximate region, using cookies/identifiers, to understand and improve usage.
• Payment data: processed directly by our payment provider (iCount). We do not receive or store your full card details; we receive a payment confirmation and reference.

We do not ask for your name, address, or phone number, and we do not sell personal data.

2. How we use it

• To operate the Service (deliver readings, manage free/paid questions, restore your credits).
• To process purchases and provide support regarding them.
• To measure and improve performance and content (analytics).
• To protect against fraud and abuse.

3. Third-party services

We rely on trusted processors, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Supabase — database/hosting of wallet and usage records.
• iCount — payment processing and receipts.
• Google Analytics — usage analytics.
• Vercel — website hosting and delivery.

If you connect the Service to a third-party platform (e.g., a social login), we only receive the basic profile data that platform grants and use it solely to provide the requested feature.

4. Cookies

We use local storage for the anonymous identifiers described above and cookies/identifiers set by Google Analytics. You can clear these via your browser at any time; doing so may reset your free question and unlink locally-stored credits (use your wallet link to restore them).

5. Data retention

Wallet and purchase records are kept as long as needed to provide access to purchased credits and to meet legal/accounting obligations. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' default retention settings.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your identifiers or purchases. Because the Service is largely anonymous, please contact us with your wallet token or payment reference so we can locate the relevant records.

7. Children

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Entertainment notice

Fortune/lot readings are provided for entertainment purposes only and are used at your own discretion and responsibility.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
